"The Wosk Centre is an international conference centre designed to meet the highest standards for meetings and conferences. Given the heritage designation of the building the exterior signage entailed detailed discussions with the City of Vancouver, which were handled with tremendous skill ... the presentation materials were of the highest quality and helped convince planners and the Heritage Commission of the worthiness of the design. The interior signage included donor recognition materials; always a sensitive area. The results are superb, with the signage contributing to the overall

design of this very special building." Dr Warren Gill, VP, SFU. Exterior signage was designed to respond to the dual character of the building: the north and west street facades are the original bank pavilion while the south courtyard facade is new and very contemporary. Design of the interior signage also had two primary demands: to provide a wayfinding system that effectively addressed accessibility issues, while not adding "clutter" to the interior architecture.
